“We’re all searching for someone whose demons will play well with ours”.i think that’s why us pandas get along so famously. we’re like parents at playgroup, we hang out and have tea while our demons chase each other around the house until they’re worn out.
I love this. Partly because I have friends who can express themselves so wonderfully, but also because this statement rings so true.

I have always been attracted to things that are damaged. Though I love to read books, in preference to having a new book I love to read, I would rather have an old book I have never read on my shelf; with pages creased by the careless (or caring) hands of previous readers, browned by sunlight, sweat and dead skin cells, imbued with the essence of the past.
The people closest to me are people who have been trialled by the world, but not broken by it. They have been tested and it has built strength inside them.
I find beauty in pain.
